In this video from the 2021 World Of Wheels Custom Car Show Birmingham Al I had the chance to set down with Von Hot Rod Master Pinstriper…If You have been to a major Custom Car Show in the last 20 years you have seen Him…Given the name Hot Rod at birth He knew wanted to do at a early age…Build cool custom cars….After a successful career building cool He closed His shop and pursued pinstriping full time…Von tells Me that pinstriping is something He always enjoyed doing but in the early years He did it just to spruce up the Hot Rods He was flipping to make some money…No big deal really.. Then He had a client ask Him to pinstripe His Hot Rod and one thing led to another and He became one of the best on the west coast before hitting the custom car show circuit and becoming the world wide legend that He has become today…He tells Me that things slowed down for a period but now with the internet pinstriping has become mainstream and people now want all kinds of things striped from kitchen appliances to a glass eye..lol…Von Hot Rod in a very interesting Guy and I could watch Him work for hours…Very talented for sure…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 World Of Wheels Birmingham Al I catch up with “Quint Walbert’s 1941 Willys”….The car was originally debuted at the 2019 Detroit Autorama and won a Great 8 award at that show…One of the best of the best and it was still holding its own 2 years later at the 2021 World Of Wheels Birmingham….Covered in a custom blue sometimes purple paint color with green and grey graphics…There was no way you would miss this one….The interior is all custom all leather medium brown and light brown trim works perfectly with the rest of the build..imho…The underside of this 41 Willys Pro Street is finished just as nice as the top…Body color and lots of chrome…I could stare at it all day…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone….The ones they chose for this 1941 Willys from the 2021 World Of Wheels work for me…They are BIG and Chrome…Perfect!!…Under the hood is a GM Performance 572 and nothing else except a bunch more chrome!!..lol…Lots of bling..To Me when it comes to a Willys You have to go BIG or go home…They are the perfect Pro Street build in my eye…This one from the 2021 World Of Wheels Birmingham is done to a very nice level…Taste,Talent and a lot of money is what it takes to build cool…This is a good example of all three coming together very nicely…..Check it out!!!!

In this video I stop by the Reinhart Collection in Indianapolis In and check out Mark’s 2003 Lamborghini Murcielago….Mark tells Me when He was a Kid the two cars He had hanging on His wall was the Porsche 911 and a Lamborghini…He had the Porsche….He sold it and bought this 2003 Lamborghini Murcielago…The body is made of Carbon Fiber and this one is covered in deep black paint with flat black accents…Silver raging bull graphix…A very cool look on a very cool looking car.. The interior is race car like and covered in tan leather…This is a race car that car be driven on the street so there is heat…but no air conditioning….Aftermarket stereo in case you get tired on the sound of the V-12 that sets right behind your head…You would think that the stock wheels on a car that cost over 100k would be cool and I am sure they were…But not cool enough for Mark..This 2003 Lamborghini Murcielago sets on one off custom wheels…Nice!…I don’t shoot a lot of these supercars because I don’t have access to many of them…Not because I don’t think they are cool…Lamborghini sure knows cool…Check it out!!!

In this video from the ScottieDTV You Can’t Cancel Cool Road Tour 2020 I stopped by Butler In and checked out this 1947 International Harvester Rat Rod Pickup Truck….I dig the creativity of a Rat Rod always unique and this one being a International makes it that much more cool…The list of custom touched is to long to list…It is powered by a old school small block chevy making it just as reliable as it is cool…Rat Rods are always hard to describe because of the amount of custom details they have. In this video I stop by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors just as they are finishing up this 1939 Ford Convertible Street Rod..The car was started several years ago by the friend of the current owner…Unfortunately He past away…But before He did he asked the current owner to take the car to the finish line…We know what a blessing it is to able to work with these cool custom cars..When you add a back story like this the honor is so much bigger….Covered on a brown metallic paint..Pro auto added the light brown convertible top…A classic look this 1939 Ford Street Rod wears well…The interior is a light and dark brown…More light than dark and of course with Steve and boys at Pro Auto Custom Interiors worked their magic making the all leather custom interior match the rest of the build perfectly..Wheels are always a personal choice and they chose a classic wheel to complete this build…Under the hood is a old school 351 Windsor….A Ford in a Ford…I know You love that!!…Under this just finished Street Rod is all modern chassis and suspension parts…Making this 1939 Ford Convertible Street Rod…Classic cool with all the modern reliability, Performance and Handling.. A very cool car for sure with a great back story….Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2020 Pigeon Forge Rod Run held in Pigeon Forge Tn I found this 2nd generation Chevrolet Camaro…At first glance I thought it was just a attention getter… A Showpiece that Camaro Central used at car shows…..I put a clip of it in the 2019 NSRA Street Rod Nationals walk around video but didn’t spend much time looking it over…At the 2020 Pigeon Forge Rod Run Camaro Central had it in their vending spot so I gave it a closer look…I’m a BIG fan of the second generation Chevrolet Camaro so it had Me right out of the gate….But did they mess it up…Or make something cool??…The front and the back….Very good representation of this generation Camaro.. The middle is pretty much a door….It’s like a 1970 Camaro got compacted but didn’t get crushed somehow…The interior is very simple…Nothing more than what you would need to drive it and that was the BIG question…Could You drive it??….Or was it just a showpiece???…I have never seen it run or drive…BUT!!…It is on what I guess to be a VW Bug chassis….So I think You can cruse it around and for that….I think it’s cool…I think some of You will think the same…Check it out!!!

In this video from the ScottieDTV You Can’t Cancel Cool road Tour I stopped into the Auto Crusade Car Show held in Cumming Ga….The Auto Crusade Car Show has been going on for a number of years and it just keeps getting bigger and better…When I attended the show for the first time a few years back it didn’t take long to see I had found a very cool small town car show..One where the whole town was behind the event…And just because it wasn’t in a big city with 1000’s of cars there…They knew cool and it was everywhere…In this video I do a walk around on a 1985 Chevrolet Pickup that some boys I met down at this show a couple years back built for a client of theirs…I have shot several of their builds and they always bring some nice stuff…This 1985 Chevrolet pickup is pure white with black stripes.. .I shot one a couple of years back they built…Same color…Different year…Same client…lol..The truck has been completely redone…The interior has some diamond pleat added to the seat…Custom gauges and dash nothing to fancy…But fits the truck well….Under the hood a healthy 383 and a very clean install….This is one clean 1985 Chevrolet Pickup that was built to drive….I know You will dig it…Check it out!!!
