In this video from the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green Ky I check out the one and only 1983 Chevrolet Corvette…There had been a long debate on whether there were any true 1983 Corvette….And if so…Were there any left….In a barn somewhere?….Hidden from public eye..Like some stolen art work…Or D.B Cooper…lol…Well the answer is at the National Corvette Museum. There is one…..Left…lol..There were 47 at one time…They were all crushed except this one that is at the National Corvette Museum….How cool is that!?!?…Now….There is so much more to the history of this car…I named it God’s Corvette…This 1983 Chevrolet Corvette should not be setting there…If it were up to General Motors it would have been crushed….They ordered it crushed…But it was saved by accident??..I think not!!..lol..Only Divine Intervention could have saved it…Not once!!…But twice.. This 1983 Chevrolet Corvette was at the National Corvette Museum when the sinkhole happen and it was saved a second time…Less than 5′ from going in….This is one very cool Chevrolet Corvette with a amazing History..Check it out!!!

In this video from the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green Ky I stumbled across a parking lot full of 2021 Corvettes…The C8 Corvette is arguably the hardest car to get right now…The first generation of mid-engine Corvettes has been a big hit to say the least….You can only imagine my surprise when I was cruising around the test track at the National Corvette Museum and came across rows and rows of them…Every color…Every option….There they sat…They still had shipping packaging on them so my guess is that they were staged there for shipping…Or maybe delivery at the National Corvette Museum….I’m not sure…But as You will see in the video…I was very excite about finding them…To be honest….I wasn’t a fan when the C8 came out…I’m still not crazy about them..I do realize that they are only trying to do what best for the performance of the car…But I’m a rear wheel, front engine…American V8 kinda guy….After my visit to the National Corvette Museum I have warmed up to them a little more…Still not a fan….But I did buy a $20 raffle ticket in hopes of winning one…lol..Fingers Crossed….And being a Car guy I did appreciate the position I found myself in.. Standing in a sea of 2021 C8 Corvettes….That’s cool like them or not…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 World Of Wheels held in Birmingham Al I catch up with this 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova…If you follow the channel You may recognize this car from when it was out at Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors getting it’s custom interior installed…When I shot the car out there it wasn’t finished…The nose was missing and the car still had several details that needed to be addressed….At the 2021 World Of Wheels Birmingham show it was finished and looking stunning…Covered in medium to dark blue paint it wears well…There are not a lot of body mods,the 1966 Chevy Nova really doesn’t need any…Just get the gaps right and the lines sharp, You’re ready to go…Again the interior is all leather and all custom…Steve and the Boys out at Pro Auto Custom Interiors knocked it out of the park…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…I’m good with the ones they chose to run on this 1966 Chevrolet Nova. Under the hood is some custom paneling…A very clean install and a 383 V8 running throttle body injection so it looks like a old school carburetor….The underside is just as clean as the top of the car and has all been upgraded to the latest technology….This 1966 Chevrolet ChevyII/Nova will be part of the 2021 ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen at the 2021 Pigeon Forge Rod Run, come see it in person….I’m a fan…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 World Of Wheels held in Birmingham Al I was front row for the unveiling of this 1973 Mercury Cougar Convertible…”Diablo Gato”…The car originally was scheduled to be unveiled at the 2020 SEMA Show..With that event being cancelled due to COVID they held the unveil at the 2021 World Of Wheels Birmingham…It’s covered in mile deep black paint with a black convertible top..The interior is also black…Covered in a custom leather the interior like the rest of the car…Close to what would have come from the Mercury Factory back in 1973…Just a little cooler and much nicer..This 1973 Mercury Cougar Convertible is a restmod and the builder stayed real close to that style…Everything has been upgraded and finished to a very nice level…Very few modifications from the original styling of a 1973 Mercury Cougar.. The underside is been done to a very nice level also and upgraded to make sure that all the power of the 351 Cleveland makes it to the ground…Wheels are always a personal choice…No one set will please everyone..I like the wheels they chose to run on this 1973 Mercury Cougar Convertible form the 2021 World Of Wheels custom car show…They fit the rest of the build…They have a could have come from the factory look…But a little bigger and much nicer than anything offered back in 1973…I don’t find many Mercury Cougars that have been done to this level and I see even less convertibles…You can tell this car was built to cruise around town with the top down…Very cool for sure…Check it out!!!!

In this video from the 2020 Ford F-100 show held in Pigeon Forge Tn I caught up with this 1968 Ford F100 Pickup…The truck has been in the family since 1971…It served as a work truck for many years and was give to the current owner when He turned 14…He drove it until He went off to school..It sat for many years and had started to get into bad shape…Dad was always asking “What are You going to do with that old truck?”…The current owners answer is the same as many out there with more ideas than money…Turn it into a cool truck one day Dad…Then one day they found out that Dad had some serious medical issues and that if the truck was going to get done with Him involved..Then the time had come…So as a Family they worked through getting it to where You see it today…He tells Me many hours were spent talking about what to do next on this truck in a time all they could think about was their Dads health….Cool how machines can do that for car people…Covered in a red paint that it wears very well…The truck is not really custom..Just a very cool driver and show winner I’m sure..The interior has been redone…But it looks like a very nice stock interior…Wheels are always a personal choice..I’m good with the white steelies they chose to run…Give the truck a clean understated look. Under the hood…Well I’ll let Him tell you about that..lol..I’m cool with it….But some may not be…This is one very cool 1968 Ford F100 Pickup from the 2020 Ford F100 show…Built to drive and put smiles on peoples faces..Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 World Of Wheels Birmingham Al custom car show, I bring You the unveil of the 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger “Copperhead”…The car was originally supposed to debut at the 2020 SEMA Show but due to that event being canceled due to COVID restrictions they decided to let the world see if for the very first time at the 2021 World Of Wheels Birmingham…The car was bought new by the current owners back in 1969 and they have had it ever since…Covered in a gold color with a dark brown accent…Not a common color combo…But one that this 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger wears well…The interior is covered in a light beige leather and is custom…But not over the top.. More like something that could have come from Dodge back in the day…Works really well with the overall build and the colors of the rest of the car…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…The wheel they chose to run on this 1969 Dodge Swinger from the 2021 World Of Wheels is something that could have come from the factory back in the day…Only bigger and much nicer.. A great choice in my opinion..Under the hood is the original 340…Although the install is much cleaner than what you would have got from Dodge back in 1969…Suspension has all been ungraded and finished to a very high level..It’s ready to cruise.. This 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger restomod is a cool car for sure…Check it out!!!

In this video from the ScottieDTV International Headquarters I Skype with Josh Russell from the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners MI..What started as a private car collection in the early 60’s and it opened to the public back in 1966…When Josh contacted Me I hadn’t heard of the Gilmore Car Museum even though I was born and raised just a couple hours south in Toledo OH…As I started to get up to speed with what they had going on the more excited I got…I have plans to visit the Gilmore Car Museum in July 2021 for a few days…But there was no way I was going to keep this place a secret from the ScottieDTV followers until then…The Gilmore Car Museum is located on 90 acres in the country and it’s not just static displays..Although they have several building from different time periods that are filled with the correct model year vehicles..It’s all located in a beautiful country setting…There are a couple dealerships…a gas station….Even a working dinner….Cheeseburgers… Milkshakes and a bunch of cool cars…trucks and even motorcycles…They always have cool things going on from weekly cruise ins…Weekend car shows…Music events…The list goes on and Josh does a better job of covering some of what you can expect when you visit the Gilmore Car Museum than Me and trust Me You’re going to want to visit the Gilmore Car Museum…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 World Of Wheels held in Birmingham Al….I catch up with this 1960 Chevrolet Impala that Goolsby Customs had on display at this event…Goolsby Customs is known for doing high end customs and this 1960 Chevrolet Impala is done to a very high level…But it was built to drive…No custom body modifications….Jonathan tells Me that the car was a barn find and in very good condition when it arrived…They covered it in a custom mix bluish grey paint….The top is black….And the interior is red..A combination that takes a second to sink in..But once it did…I dig it…It pops without being to aggressive….The all red interior is custom with a could have come stock look…Perfect for this build and against the blue grey body….Gives the car the perfect amount of pop!…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…I really like the wheels Goolsby Customs chose for this 1960 Chevrolet Impala from the 2021 World Of Wheels…. There is LS under the hood that has the look of 409 and a very clean install…The suspension has all been upgraded to modern technology so all that power makes it to the ground…The 1960’s Chevrolet Impalas were cool from the factory and You don’t have to do much to them..This 1960 Chevrolet Impala from the 2021 World Of Wheels has been taken to the next level from factory..But it hasn’t lost any of it’s old school cool…Check it out!!
