In this video from the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY I stopped in to check out the Ed Big Daddy Roth exhibit they had for there for several months…Ed Roth was known for creating over the top custom cars that He used on His T-shirts and were later made into model car kits that young kids bough all over the world…On My visit to the National Corvette Museum I shot several videos of this exhibit…One was a overview and the others like this one is a closer look at the Ed Roth Cars that were on display…Orbitron is a car with a interesting history and a car that Ed considered a failure…Orbitron is one of the few Ed Roth builds where the engine and a lot of the chrome work was covered up by body work….When You see it today it looks like a cool custom car from the 60’s… The car has been redone a few times and was last found rotting behind a adult bookstore in Mexico. It is now been restored to all its original glory…One of the coolest features is the three color light on the front that was designed to create a bright white light…The Ed “Big Daddy” Roth custom car Orbitron is a cool part of custom care history..I was very honored to be able to capture it…I know You’re going to enjoy seeing it….Check it out!!!!

In this video from the 2021 NSRA Street Rod Nationals held in Knoxville Tn…I caught up with this 1968 GMC C15 Street Truck…These generation pickup trucks are hot…But you don’t see a lot of the stepside trucks getting done..This one is covered in a dark brown metallic paint…Trimmed in a bronze color…Body modifications are few..These trucks don’t really need any…The work that was done just cleaned a few things up the factory didn’t have time or budget to do…The interior is colored matched to the wheels and rest of the accents on the truck….A over the counter kit professionally installed…The driveline was all donated from a Chevrolet C5 Corvette….With the addition of a couple of turbos!! …Suspension is from the same C5 Corvette….The chassis was custom built for this truck… Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone….The builder color matched the wheels to the interior and I think they work well on this truck…This 1968 GMC C15 built a business before it became s cool hot rod….A cool truck with a cool history…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 Pigeon Forge Rod Run held at the Leconte Center in Pigeon Forge TN, I walk around and check out the cars and trucks that were displayed inside at this event…The 2021 Pigeon Forge Rod Run was a packed house…And the level of build was very high…The Pigeon Forge Rod Run always have a good mix of cars…trucks….Custom and Restored..Really something for everyone. The show has vehicles inside the Leconte Center and more outside and even more cruising the strip. In this video I stop by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors just as they were finishing up this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro….Done in a pro touring style…They have made a few modifications to it..But nothing that changes the coolness of a 1st Generation Chevrolet Camaro…It’s covered in a pearl orange paint…Being from Tennessee I really dig the color…It’s not a crazy in your face orange…The pearl tones it down enough that I think most people will like it….Steve and the Boy’s out at Pro Auto Custom Interiors installed a all custom leather interior…3D door panels…Bucket Seats in the back and they were able to almost make the tubs disappear…Custom Headliner.. It’s all covered in a Tan Leather trimmed in a darker brown…Really works well with the rest of the build…Pro Auto Custom Interiors always does a great job of making the custom interior they build match the rest of the build…They nailed another one…Under the custom hood is a 502 Chevrolet Big Block making 502 HP…With the updated suspension and breaks…This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro should be a Street Beast!!…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone..I’m good with the ones they chose to run on this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro from Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors…More of a modern look..That matches the custom touches the rest of the car has…This one was a BIG hit when we unveiled it at the 2021 ScottieDTV.com Dirty Dozen part of the 2021 Pigeon Forge Rod Run…Check it out and see why!!

In this video from the 2021 NSRA Street Rod Nationals Knoxville TN I found a very cool 1955 Chevrolet Cameo Pickup…I dig these Chevrolet Cameo Pickup Trucks…Chevrolet only made these trucks for four years…They were not a huge success back in the day…But they sure do make cool hot rods now…This one is covered in metallic blue with white trim a color combination that really popped! in the bright sunshine we had at the 2021 NSRA Street Rod Nationals South Knoxville Tn…The custom leather interior was covered in white with some diamond pleats…Very cool and fit the build perfectly in my opinion…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will pleases everyone…I’m good with the choice they made…A classic style with a modern look…The bed has some custom pinstriping and woodwork….Unique, and a nice touch to this 1955 Chevrolet Cameo Pickup form the 2021 NSRA Street Rod Nationals Knoxville TN….Under the hood is a LS2 Small Block Chevrolet and a very nice install….This 1955 Chevrolet Cameo Pickup from the 2021 NSRA Street Rod Nationals was one of My favorites for sure…Check it out!!!

In this video from the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green Ky I check out the 1923 Ford Model T…Tweedy Pie…This 1923 Ford was part of the Ed “Big Daddy” Roth exhibit at the National Corvette Museum…Although Tweedy Pie the 1923 Ford Model T is known as one of Ed Roth’s famous Hot Rods…He didn’t build it…He bought it back in the day…The cars won “Best Roadster” at the one and only Disneyland Car Club day…Ed bought it from Bob in 1962 and took the car to the world…When You look at the car it is a very cool…But simple Hot Rod…Ed was always known for doing a lot with a little…The complete history of the car is up for debate…But the fact that at one time it was known throughout the Custom Car World…Revell Models has sold over 11 million models the 1923 Model T “Tweedy Pie” ….And still selling..This is one cool part of Custom Car History for sure…I’m sure You’re going to dig it…Check it out!!!
