In this video from the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY, I check out Ed “Big Daddy” Roth’s One Off Custom Hot Rod “Wishbone” that was displayed there…Wishbone was part of a exhibit that the National Corvette Museum had highlighting some of Ed “Big Daddy” Roth’s builds along with some other items that where part of Ed Roth’s Custom Car building career…Wishbone has a interesting history…Like most of Ed’s creations…Wishbone was built just so that it would be licensed as a model, The problem is that Revell didn’t like it…They said it was going to be to hard to reproduce in scale of a plastic model kit….So Ed cut it up and threw it in the trash…One of His employees saved the pieces and at some point sold them to someone else… They put the car back together this is the recreated Ed “Big Daddy” Roth’s Wishbone…See back in the day Ed built these crazy creations so that Revell could make models and He could use them on the t-shirts that He painted…After they has been out awhile and people had seen them…They would tear the cars apart and build something new with the parts…Unlike today when high end custom cars are built…Shown and driven…Most of the custom cars from back in the day where not road worthy.. They didn’t have to be…They were strictly show cars…I love custom cars and trucks, and to be able to capture custom car history is so cool and such a honor for me…I hope you enjoy this video of Ed “Big Daddy” Roth’s Mysterion from the National Corvette Museum…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas NV, I found this very cool 1967 Chevrolet Suburban Street Cruiser…Hot Rod SUV…I really dig when people Hot Rod Old School SUV’s…I have a GMC Yukon Myself…This 1967 Chevrolet Suburban is the perfect shade of medium blue paint with a white roof…The roof may have a little pearl over that white…The custom interior is perfect for this build in my opinion…It’s a darker blue leather with a plaid blue inserts…The gages have been updated but they still have the old school look of the 1967 Chevrolet Trucks…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…With that said…I’m a BIG fan of the ones they chose to run on this 1967 Chevrolet Suburban from the 2021 SEMA Show…Under the hood a very cleanly installed LT4 and some very nice panel work…Looks like they used the same color blue as the body…But used some satin clear to give it a added accent under there….Ridetech suspension and upgraded brakes to make sure it rides and stops like a new truck…I am a BIG fan of Hot Rod SUV’s and I wouldn’t change a thing on this 1967 Chevrolet Suburban from the 2021 SEMA Show…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2022 World Of Wheels Custom Auto Show held in Birmingham AL, I catch up with this 1976 Pontiac Trans Am…The owner at one time worked at a gas station and would fill the tank when the owner stopped buy…He always wanted this car…He bought another Pontiac Trans Am that He drove through Highschool…But He still wanted this one…Not one like it…But the exact 1976 Pontiac Trans Am that He used to fill with gas as a kid…A few years ago He was able to buy the car, but it wasn’t a new 1976 Trans Am…It had some rust…some wear and tear from being driven. It was still a good car…Just not the beauty that He remembered back in the day…Now!…This black and gold beauty is better than new. now…The interior still has the style of the 1976 Pontiac Trans Am..But now it is custom leather…The paint and body have all been redone to a very high standard….Black with gold decals…The engine is still the one that came in it…But it’s all been redone..The owner tells Me that if the part was available and the car needed it…It got it!!..I have always been a Pontiac Trans Am fan…I had a 1979 Silver Anniversary Trans Am as My first car…This 1976 Pontiac Trans Am from the 2022 World Of Wheels Custom Auto Show is much nicer than new…But just as cool..Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 Auburn Americana Car Show held in Auburn IN, I walk around and check out some of the Highlights..I also have long time resident and show attendee “Flamingo” tell Me some of it’s History…The Auburn, Cord Duesenberg Festival has been going on for several years and is something that people look forward to attending on Labor Day Weekend…This year they added this Auburn Americana event…The Auburn Americana is a car show with a car auction also…So if You’re looking for a Hot Rod..You can show up and drive home in one..Auburn Indiana is a beautiful part of the United States and they are crazy about cars there…I expect that this event will continue to grow every year…2021 was a good event with a ton of cool..But I think it will get better…This video is just a little taste of what was there…Check it out and I hope to see You there next year!!

In this video from the 2021 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas NV, I catch up with the Kindig-It Design CF1 Corvette…The Kindig CF1 Corvette has the look of a 1st generation Chevrolet Corvette yet it is a Dave Kindig Custom Creation….It’s covered in a silver color that is so new that it hasn’t even been named yet….The body is completely made of Carbon Fiber and only ways 70 pounds…The cab spaced has been increased so that a taller driver can comfortably cruise this custom Kindig CF1. Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will pleases everyone…Good news…When You order yours…You can chose any wheel you like…I’m good with the ones that Kindig decided to run on this Kindig-It Design CF1 Corvette from the 2021 SEMA Show…Under the hood is a Lingenfelter LS V8, A custom mill that is a naturally aspirated combination of LS3 and LS7 parts, good for a minimum of 650 hp…Custom Chassis..best suspension and brakes…Make it drive like a new one..,Dave has always been a fan of the 1953 Chevrolet Corvette with a few exception…He has fixed those issues and now You can buy the car He has always dreamed of….Very cool for sure…Check it out!!

In this video from the 2022 World Of Wheels held in Birmingham AL, I catch up with the 2022 Goodguys Rod And Custom Association giveaway truck…This 1985 Chevrolet C/10 named “Jenny” was built by Goolsby Custom to be given away at the 2022 Columbus Goodguys Rod & Custom Association Summit Racing Nationals presented by PPG…It’s two tone blue and white…Both colors available back in the 80’s, separated by a custom mix orange stripe…Very clean…Nothing crazy…But a cool, clean look…The interior is custom but has the look of something that you could have ordered from the factory back in 1985…Much cleaner and cooler…But it still has a OEM look…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…I think that Goolsby nailed the stance and wheels choice…The only air on this one is in the cab…This 1985 Chevrolet C/10 Street Truck is on coilovers and this in where it rides…Under the hood is a cleanly installed LT1…This 1985 Chevrolet C/10 sets on a aftermarket chassis with all the latest and greatest parts to give it the ride of a sports car. Jonathan tells Me He built this truck like He has always wanted one but hasn’t had the time to build for himself….I would love to win it…Maybe you can!?!? In this video from the 2021 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas NV, I caught up with this 1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Roadster….It’s covered in bright red paint and left with just the right amount of chrome IMHO.. This Custom Hot Rod Street Truck is a full on roadster…Sunny days only!..The interior is a tan leather custom interior that has removed all the seats except the passengers and driver seat…The rear of the truck has been taken over by a carpet covered flat floor that hides the stereo equipment…At least that is my guess what’s under there…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…I really dig the style and finish of the ones they chose to run on this 1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer from the 2021 SEMA Show…I wasn’t able to catch this custom truck with the hood open so I am not sure what powers it…The stance is adjustable through what I am guessing is a air system..It was always laying on the ground so I wasn’t able to see the underside but I would think it has all been upgraded to match the rest of the build of this 1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Roadster…I’m a BIG fan of Hot Rod Suv’s and this one from the 2021 SEMA Show is way cool for sure Check it out!!

In this video from the 2022 World Of Wheels Custom Car Show held in Birmingham AL I catch up with this 1957 Chevrolet Nomad Wagon…It’s covered in a pewter color paint, trimmed in chrome and carbon fiber..A combination that works well for me..The interior is a all custom leather interior built by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors, Steve and the Boys nailed it as usual…It’s not over done…But it does keep with with the rest of the build…Lipstick red and carbon fiber works well with the pewter color of the body…Under the hood is a LS2 with a custom intake…A little more chrome and carbon fiber…All very nicely installed…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone….The first set Noniel chose won some awards…But these that He just added should work well for everyone…They work for Me..It’s a chassis car…brakes and suspension are upgraded to the latest technology so it should ride and drive like a late model car…Took Noniel seven years to finish this 1957 Chevrolet Nomad Wagon from the 2022 World Of Wheels Custom Car Show..I think it was time well spent…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas NV I found what I believe is a C5 Chevrolet Corvette.. The “GT SSC” Dual Engine Super Super Car…At least that’s what I think it started as…When I first laid eyes on this custom exotic sports car…I mean..It’s a widebody….Something??…But I had no idea what I was really looking at…And it sounded different…It was The SEMA Show and there is always crazy stuff that shows up..So no idea…Upon closer inspection I still didn’t know what this custom Chevrolet Corvette was hiding…Obviously totally custom…And it seemed if I closed one eye..I could see a Corvette??…But then I walked by when the rear hatch was open….I could not believe what I was seeing…TWO LT4 setting next to each other!?!? That explains why it was so wide…Then it dawned on Me…These two LT4 where at the wrong end of the car!?!?!…CRAZY!?!?…The interior is still C5 Chevrolet Corvette…The roof….Still, Chevrolet Corvette… But the rest from front to back…Custom…One of a kind for sure…Like it or not…It is interesting!!
