In this video from the 2021 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas NV, I catch up with this 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner.. “Hellrunner” .This is no run of the mill parking lot show 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner…It’s covered in a bronze color that is close to a color You could have ordered back in 1973…But the paint would have never been this nice from the factory…It also has a black accent stripe that runs over the roof. There aren’t many body modifications…But things do fit and line up better than when the car was new. I wasn’t able to see the interior, But from My understanding it is custom and has all the options you would have got on a 2016 Hellcat…Under the hood is the 426 HEMI Hellephant engine delivering 1000HP and 950 LBS of Torque..The suspension and brakes have all been upgraded to handle all that added horsepower…I don’t see a lot of this body style Plymouth Roadrunner and the ones I do see usually are restored to stock….This 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner from the 2021 SEMA Show is not only restored to a very nice level…That horsepower shortage from 1973 has been corrected also….Very cool for sure…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2022 Detroit Autorama held in Detroit MI, I catch up with this One Off Custom Handmade Hot Rod Truck…If You can imagine this custom truck was flat stainless steel, round and square aluminum day one of this build…I was able to interview the builder and He tells Me that this is not His first attempt at building a custom vehicle, that this is the second that He built for a competition that was held in Las Vegas during the SEMA Show…He has won both…This one off custom creation has not been done long, but already has 1600 miles on it…So not only was it built to drive…It’s being driven!…It’s powered by a mid mounted LS3…The suspension is all one off custom and can lay on the ground…Or raise the truck 8 inches…The custom interior is all metal and copper, very cool and fits the build perfectly…There is nothing that this custom one off hot rod truck from the 2022 Detroit Autorama compares to…It is one You will have to see not only to believe…But to understand just how custom it is…I’m a fan and I am sure You will be too…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2022 Detroit Autorama held in Detroit MI, I check out the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Cutaway Car…The C8 Corvette has made a grand entrance into the History of the Chevrolet Corvette…As I discovered on My visit to the National Corvette Museum…Zora Duntov was pushing the Mid Engine design from His first day at Chevrolet…Zora never was able to see His dream make it to market…But all the rumors were put to bed in 2020 when the C8 Mid Engine Chevrolet Corvette went on sale to the general public….I have to be honest….I had heard about a Mid Engine Corvette for so long…That I had given up, So when they did finally hit the market…I wasn’t a big fan and I would still have no problem with having a C7…Or even a C6….and would have no desire to trade. I have been able to spend a little time around the new C8…I have warmed up to them as they say…I don’t dream of owning one…But I sure would drive one if I had to…lol…In this video from the 2022 Detroit Autorama I have a Cutaway version of the C8 Chevrolet Corvette…I thought it was very cool to see what’s under the slick skin of the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette, I think You will too……The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Cutaway from the 2022 Detroit Autorama…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas NV, I catch up with this very cool 1972 Datsun 240Z…LSZ…I found this 1972 Datsun 240Z back in the Battel Of The Builders area of the 2021 SEMA Show….It appears to be a street car with the ability to hit the track when You’re ready! It’s covered in a dark grey metallic paint trimmed in black…A aggressive look that it wears well. The race inspired interior is done in black…and appears to be very functional…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…The ones they chose to run on this 1972 Datsun 240Z from the 2021 SEMA Show work well with the rest of the aggressive look of the build. Under the hood is a very cleanly installed LS1…and when I say clean…I mean better than if Datsun had installed in back in the day…This 1972 Datsun 240Z was obviously built to drive so the suspension and brakes have been upgraded to the latest technology…There is a ton of work done to this car….All of it to a very high level and none of it takes away from the original cool of a 1972 Datsun 240Z…..I’m a fan and I am sure You will be to…The 1972 Datsun 240Z.. “LSZ” from the 2021 SEMA Show…Check it out!!!!

In this video from the 2022 Pigeon Forge Rod Run held in Pigeon Forge TN. I catch up with the 1932 Ford Roadster Pickup that Nichols Paint and Fab just finished up. I was super stoked when Justin agreed to bring this Crazy cool 32 Ford Roadster to the 2022 ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen that is part of the 2022 Pigeon Forge Rod Run…It’s covered in a custom color that Justin has named blown head gasket grey…Think of the color of the liquid that comes out of a engine with a blown head gasket, Not a cool sight when it’s your engine…But as a paint color….It works well…The interior is all custom with a ton of detail that makes it fit the rest of the build perfectly…Wheels are always a personal choice and on one set will please everyone…I really dig the one off custom wheels Nichols Paint And Fab chose to run…Look into the bed and it will blown your mind….It’s cut out to reveal a custom cantilever suspension….Way cool for sure…And the underside is just as nice as the rest of the car…And with nothing hanging down,….It’s a very clean cool part of this 1932 Ford Roadster Pickup….And if all this crazy cool detail is not enough….It’s powered by a twin turbo 5.0 Coyote that Justin has hid the turbos in the headlights!??!!?..Never seen that before…This is one very cool 1932 Ford Roadster Pickup that Justin has had in his head for over twenty years….This one will have people talking for along time…The 1932 Ford Pickup Roadster built by Nichol’s Paint and Fab, from the 2022 ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen part of the 2022 Pigeon Forge Rod Run…Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2022 Pigeon Forge Rod Run held in Pigeon Forge TN, I catch the cool that was displayed in the building…Drive out the back door….There are two Pigeon Forge Rod Runs a year, One in the Spring and one in the Fall…The 2022 Pigeon Forge Rod Run Spring was a successful show for sure with all kinds of cool…Cars…Trucks….Customs and some that had been restored to nicer than new. The ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen was in the house…For the past several years I have hand picked 12 cars or trucks that I have shot for the ScottieDTV Web Channel and invite them to be displayed in the front row of the La Conte Center at the Pigeon Forge Rod Run….There are more cool cars and trucks on display than just the ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen and this video includes all of the ones I could catch driving out.. If You have never been to the Pigeon Forge Rod Run, It is a event You want to attend for sure…The Pigeon Forge Rod Run Fall has been going on for 40 years and this the Spring show for almost as long…Pigeon Forge TN sets at the base of the Smoky Mountains and is a beautiful part of the country….I’m very proud that ScottieDTV gets to be part of this show and I hope You enjoy the 2022 Pigeon Forge Rod Run Spring Drive Out video….Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2022 Detroit Autorama held in Detroit MI, I catch up with this 2007 Dodge Magnum 2 Door Wagon…”MOPAR Express”….What a cool Hot Rod!!…It’s covered in a tangerine color paint that was love at first sight for Me…Dodge Magnum Wagons are 4 doors when they leave the factory…This one has been converted to a two door….The side windows have been filled so it has a panel truck look about it…The interior is a mix of custom and stock…It’s a true pro street with a full cage and everything else has a purpose…Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone…I like the modern touch old school style they chose to run on this 2007 Dodge Magnum Wagon from the 2022 Detroit Autorama…There is a whole in the hood to make room for the blown 572 Gen III HEMI that powers this street monster…The chassis is custom tube chassis with all the goodies to match. This 2007 Dodge Magnum 2 Door Wagon, MOPAR Express from the 2022 Detroit Autorama is a lot more work than it looks at first glance…And all the work is done to a very nice level…A car that can run a number and win a car show is always cool in my book…I’m a fan and I am sure You will be too… Check it out!!!

In this video I stop by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors just as they were finishing up this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air that is done in a Pro Touring style. This 57 Chevy is covered in deep black paint and trimmed with the original chrome trim, a clean cool look for sure. The custom leather interior is tan and a lighter tan color that Steve and the boys knocked it out of the park…They built and designed the perfect interior for this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air! Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone, the ones they chose to run on this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air work for me. Under the hood a modern LS that in cleanly installed and I am sure will deliver enough power to get this hot rod down the road. The suspension, brakes and chassis have all been upgraded to modern technology, So it should handle and ride like a new car…There are more tri five Chevrolets on the planet now, then ever before and there is a reason that people are still building new ones…They are cool cars…This one will not disappoint…Check it out!!!!

In this video from the 2021 Auburn Americana Car show and Auto Auction, I check the “for sale” side of the show…As You will see in this video there was something for everyone. There were Hot Rods and Luxury Cars…Classic and Vintage…To some late model stuff…Chevrolet, Ford and Mopar..And trucks to….But it wasn’t just American cool…There were imports there also! The 2021 Auburn Americana Car Show and Auto Auction was held in conjunction with the 2021 Auburn Cord and Duesenberg Festival that has been held on Labor Day Weekend for many years….This is a new event and the I think that it has a bright future…You can go to a car show in Your daily and leave the show in a new Hot Rod, How cool is that?!?! The Auburn Indiana is a nice part of the country..The people are not only very good host…They are crazy about cars and trucks…If you have never been to the Auburn American Car Show and Auto Auction, It’s sure worth checking it out…I had a great time and hope to get invited back…In this video I’m just roaming around checking out what was for sale.. Check it out!!!

In this video from the 2021 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas NV, I catch up with this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible…I missed shooting this car while it was at Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors, So I was happy to see it setting in the central hall at the 2021 SEMA Show. This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible is covered in a bright red paint with some black stripes, a touch of brushed aluminum and trimmed in black…As mentioned it has a all leather custom interior with some red accents that Steve and the Boys at Pro Auto Custom Interiors nailed…A modern look that fits the build perfectly. Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone, I’m good with the ones they chose to run on this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible from the 2021 SEMA Show. I got just a quick glance at the underside and it look like it has all been upgraded to the latest technology and finished to a high level…I never could catch it with the hood open so I am not sure what powers it…One very cool car for sure…Check it out!!!
