1970 GTO Judge

Pontiac’s 1970 Ram Air IV GTO Judge convertibles are so rare that, for any genuine Pontiac enthusiast, seeing one today is an event in itself. Only 17 were built, twelve are known to exist today, and only six were optioned with a 400 Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission. The L76 Ram Air IV engine, which became available in the GTO as a result of GM lifting its corporate ban on 400-plus cubic inch powerplants, is central to the car’s pavement-ripping character. Rated at only 370 horsepower, the Ram Air IV generates almost 450 lb-ft of torque at only 3,000 rpm.

302 Boss Mustang

The Boss 302 Mustang was designed by Larry Shinoda, a former GM employee. He placed the unique reflective “c-stripe” strips on the car, and eliminated the fake rear fender scoops found on the 1969 Mustang model. The distinctive styling included optional black horizontal rear window shades, blackout hood, and was one of the first production cars with a front spoiler and rear deck wing. The name “Boss” came about when Shinoda was asked what project he was working on, he answered “the boss’s car” because the project was a secret.[3] Also Shinoda had called it the “Boss” as an homage to the new President of Ford Semon “Bunkie” Knudson who had brought Shinoda over from GM when Knudson had left. When Parnelli Jones won the 1970 Trans-Am title, the name “Boss” was kept.

1937 Studebaker Armored Police Car

This special police vehicle was ordered by the city of Canton, Ohio in 1937 to maintain control at the violet street strikes at area mills. It was in service for more than 50 years without a break down.

The car features 10 gauge steel armor throughout the body, 1.125 inch thick bullet-proof window glass wîth opening chromed gun ports and multiply bullet-resistant tires wîth inner liners. It also has a 2-way Motorola Police radio wîth a secondary backup radio system standard. In 1937 the company that custom fitted the armor guaranteed the car to be bullet-proof for any bullets up to 45 caliber gun shots.
